Centercourt at Montclair has officially opened its doors this Fall and looks to be the number one destination in team sports training. Montclair’s facility offers a state-of-the-art 19,000 square foot indoor turf field with full heating and air conditioning, making it an ideal facility for year-round practice.
Centercourt’s Montclair campus not only boasts a top-of-the-line facility, but it also has an impressive team. The General Manager, Anne Brown, and Director of Girls Lacrosse, Beth Larkin, are both heavily involved in the surrounding girls lacrosse community. Anne is a current Board Member of the Jersey Girls Lacrosse Association and Glen Ridge girls youth program commissioner and coach and Beth has been the head Coach at Glen Ridge since 2009, winning 2 New Jersey State Championships, and was one of the initial founders for Montclair’s girls youth lacrosse program. The Director of Boys Lacrosse, Mike Diehl, played Division 1 at Rutgers University, played 2 years in the National Lacrosse League and is now the Head Coach for boys lacrosse at Montclair High School.
Centercourt at Montclair currently offers instructional lacrosse training and competitive club programs for girls in grades k-12, lacrosse training for boys in grades 4-8, field rentals, and birthday parties. With the new year comes a strength and conditioning early morning boot camp held in the brand new group training gym located within the facility. Centercourt also has plans to add soccer programming in the spring.
